Lamisil Spray for the treatment of skin infections caused by fungi (mycoses) 1% x 15ml

Lamisil Spray 1% is a non-prescription drug in the form of a dermal spray containing the active substance Terbinafine hydrochloride, which is an antifungal agent that kills fungi causing skin infections.

Lamisil Spray 1% is used to treat:

> fungi on the legs (tinea pedis)
Footpads usually affect both legs but this is not required. They most often appear between the fingers, but they can also appear on the curve of the foot, lower or any part of the feet. Typically, these fungi cause cracking or scaling on the skin, and weak edema, blisters or wet wounds may occur. However, if you have a fungal nail infection (fungus or underneath the nail), discoloration of the nail and changing the nail structure (thickening, friability), you should contact a doctor because Lamisil 1% Spray for skin is not suitable for this type of infection. Lamisil tablets, which are on prescription, should be used to treat fungal nails.
> fungi in the inguinal areas (tinea cruris).
These fungi appear on the skin folds, the groin, the inner thigh, usually affected by both sides, but often one side is more affected than the other. They may then spread between the legs and the seat or up towards the stomach. They may also appear in the folds under the chest, armpit or other folded areas. The rash has a clear edge, it can have blisters and it is accompanied by itching.
> fungi on the body – ringworm (tinea corporis).
They may appear anywhere on the body, but most often they are found on the head, neck, face or hands. They usually look like red spots of red rash, but may appear as flaking spots and itching.
> multicolored lichen (pityriasis (tinea) versicolor).
Appears on the skin as scaly spots, white due to the loss of skin pigmentation. Spots are most noticeable in the summer, as the skin around them shades normally. They appear mainly on the torso (under the neck of the waist), the neck and the hands and can resume for months, especially in warm weather and sweating.

If you are not sure about the reasons for your infection, please consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Lamisil 1% Spray for skin, solution.
